Long time no blog! The wireless was really unstable and was down for these couple of days. Have been trying working to work hard, but ladyluck was not with us. It's been raining for the past few days, meaning early knockoff. Yes I admit that I can't wait to go home and hide under my blanket every night, but I do want to work. If this goes on, I won't be earning enough nor can I keep to my predicted expenditure. =(

Me and Charlotte worked non-stop since last 2 weeks and finally it's time for a break! We went over to Seaside Heights to visit Wenlie, Philip and Hansen. Yeah, the long awaited well-deserved break! We planned to have a BBQ at KC grandma's place since last week and we've been really looking forward to it. We went over on Tuesday night and stayed til Wednesday night. Too bad Philip and WenLie couldn't join us, they went New York instead and missed their buses back. So it's just me, Charlotte, Hansen, KC and their housemates- Elise and Priscilla. Haa me and Elise may be long lost sisters because we have the same taste! Only a few hours chat and we realised we like the same brands, like the same clothes and bag, the same books and even like the feeling of possessing many books so that we feel scholarly. hahaha dumb right? It was such a coincident that I found My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult in her room. It was exactly this book which I almost bought right before flying to US. It's such a beautiful and touching novel. I like this book cause it makes me think alot, think about some unanswerable questions which has no right or wrong. So intriguing! This book shall be my companion for the next few days.

Time passes better now since I found my new favourite pasttime- reading. I just completed the Korean Guide Book kindly sponsored by Charlotte. It's gonna be useful when I go over Korea at the end of this 3 month trip. I'm halfway through Hilary Clinton The Inside Story by Judith Warner. No particular reason for choosing this, other than the fact that it only cost USD1 (things here can really be bloody cheap here sometimes). I can't wait to finish this and start on My Sister's Keeper.

These are the ones that I can communicate better with. Especially Yulia! She's here last year so maybe Yanni will remember her? She does remember you! haa.. She's been teaching me Russian and me teaching her Chinese. Maybe by the end of 2 months, I can speak a little Russian. That would be so cool!! Especially when I intend to travel Europe after I grad next year. Now I can stay in her place. Kate is pretty cool too, she knows a little Chinese! SHe learnt English and Chinese in University. The best thing is that she is going to Italy next year and asked me to join her! Yeah!! It will be fabullous if I can travel Europe and make Italy my last stop so I can work and stay with her to earn back some money. Her aunt may be able to help me get a part time job. Hahaha hopefully!! I'm still in US and I"m already thinking about next year's trip. The job here is so boring that you cna have loads of time day-dreaming. Go ahead, day-dreaming is free.. hee


We went to Jenkinsons Aquarium one day while we had a 2 hour break due to rain. We entered the aquarium for free since we work under the same company. It feels like a class outing! haha so cute.. can't believe I'm doing that. But there's really nothing else to do. An fruitful trip indeed. I saw quite some marine creatures that I have never since in my entire life, other than the normal seals, penguins and fishes. See the white thing at the top right? It's totally gross! Like some creature found 100 million years ago!! Isn't the blue lobster cool?? It's so rare that it occurs only 1 in 4 million. wow.. The bread-look-alike thing at middle righ is actually a dinosaur egg. haha but I think it looks more like a toasted bun. =)
The most interesting finding is that penguin an polar bears will never meet in the wild because the former is always in the Southern Hemisphere while the latter is only in North Pole. Now you know!! haha
